Senior, Ruben Calles, goes all out for Homecoming week! “For generation day, the seniors were senior citizens. I wore a hospital gown with a pair of boxers sticking out the back, along with a cane.” Ruben says that “My favorite day during Homecoming week was celebrity day, where I dressed up as Elvis Presley. Later that day. I had a great time being the Sunlake mascot at the Homecoming football game!”

This is Koen lifting at the meet. He was very happy with how he did. He won in his weight category for both Olympic and Traditional. He says “It’s all about confidence getting under the weight.” And this meet gave him the confidence he needed for the season.
Coach Hodros and the girls that qualified for state after weighing in for the meet. They were all excited to compete and finish a great season of weightlifting off strong. Coach Hodros said, “…you’re going to have high’s and lows but overall it was a really great season.”
