Ava Van Dusen and her beloved dog Copper Gutchenstein Sir Ellingsworth the Third driving in the car. Her family had finally brought him along on the trip so he can play at the beach with them. However, he was very offended to hear that no pets were allowed at said beach.

Overall, Ava walks away from the trip feeling relatively satisfied. She emphasizes that what always stays the same (and the best part) of their annual trip is watching the fireworks on the beach at night.

Incoming senior Alia Collins holds her Duck Award at Grace Family Church Suncoast’s Student Leader Appreciation celebration. Collins was recognized for her responsibility and organization throughout the summer. The duck-themed award was inspired by the church kids’ obsession collecting tiny resin ducks.
