At the beginning of the year, seniors had the privilege of painting their own parking spots. It was the first of many celebrations they received for their hard work throughout high school. One Senior, named Stefany Miranda, outlined how it was, “…nice having the senior perk of painting my spot because it stands out, so I know exactly which one is mine and I take pride in that.” Her parking spot ended up being a colorful masterpiece of droopy smiley faces which Stefany “…always loved drawing. Each smile follows the blob, so it was fun to paint, especially since I knew it didn’t have to be perfect.” She loved the imperfections of the smiley faces and it gave her the ability to go wild with her painting. In the end, the imperfect faces still ended up looking beautiful. Stefany ended the day very pleased with her parking spot’s new, fresh coat that is now her own personalized place.
