Every person has a different view of school. Some hate it, some love it, some feel tired, and some have energy. Opinions and feelings can vary depending on your classes, teachers, and social interactions. One student in specific, Vladyslav Neshko, is a sophmore here at Sunlake. When asked how he felt during a week at school, he shared some interesting things. For example, most students usually say they don’t like school, but Vladyslav disagrees. After school, Vladyslav enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends. This give him time to rest and focus on things other than school. He has a chance to balance his time and develop new interests. School can be stressful, so asking Vladyslav in specific how he felt, he said, “I feel academically challenged, while having some fun. I like majority of my classes, yet some prove to be more challenging than others.” He likes challenges and looks forward to tackling them at school. When Vladyslav was asked what could make school better, he said some things that majority of students could agree to. This includes the dress code, phone policy, and majority of the rules that have recently changed. Vladyslav continued that he thinks “A revision on some of the rules that they came up with this year would be a benefit, but not all of them. I believe some of them, such as the dress code, is too much.” As the school year continues, all students make efforts to keep their grades up and pass their classes. Vladyslav, as mentioned in the start of this article, takes his difficulties and challenges head on which helps him keep his grades up.
