Kaitlyn explains, “Our team ended up getting State Runner Up, which we were all very excited about because it had been our long term season goal to get on the podium at states. We out so much effort in to get there and I’m so proud of my team.”

This is Adam eating his Thanksgiving meal at a kids table. There was so many people that we had to sit at 3 different tables. I got stuck at a kids table with my sister and my cousin. Even a bunch of the adult cousins got stuck at separate kids tables, so it was kind of funny.

Last Thursday, the Sunlake cross country girls won a regional championship for the first time in school history. They won by 30 points, completely destroying their competition. Freshman Leah Foster was the fourth finisher on the team, helping to lower the team score and secure the win. Leah finished with a time of 20:29 and got 17th place in the region. Without Leahs strong finish, her team wouldnt have been able to win. She exclaims, Overall, I think I did pretty good in my race. Our team did great! We got 1st. Im so proud of all of the girls and their performances!

She has both of her arms raised in the air, holding up the number one. Katelin expresses, I was proud of myself and my team because we did amazing and we won! Im excited to see what we can do next.

But even when I feel like Im dying, I still push myself, because Im racing for my teammates and I know my family is routing for me.
