Hi! I am a Junior and part of the yearbook staff here at Sunlake High School. I work as an editor for the school paper, The Perch, and am certified in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I love taking pictures for sports and student life sections as well as writing articles for the paper!

Senior Promise Walker went head-to-head with another senior to test their knowledge of Sunlakes expectations. She was encouraged to participate after hearing there would be prizes for winners. This way of teaching is so much more engaging for students, which makes a dull experience full.

Avery, a senior at Sunlake and the Book Club Advisor, leading members of Book Club around the school in their October scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt was entirely based on their last murder mystery book, A Study in Charlotte; all of the clues that were hidden around the school came directly from the novel, and led the members to the murder weapon that they would have to run back to the start.

Cleaning up the garden beds with the other members, Katie said she was inspired to join Garden club because I [sic] love working with plants and in Garden club, I can work with plants as well as help my community!
