Senior Campbell Taylor is one of our amazing athletes that had the privilege to sign for her college athletic career! Campbell is going to attend the University of West Georgia where she will be playing soccer. Several factors inspired Campbell to choose this college! She loves the location, coaching staff, program, school, and the fact that it is now competing in the highest level of college athletics. Looking back on previous years of Campbell’s high school experience playing soccer, her favorite memory is winning the regional championship and going to the State Final Four her junior year. Some pre-game rituals that Campbell participates in is writing “Audience of One” on her wrist tape, doing unique styles with her hair, and putting her cleats on in a specific manner. Campbell said, “What I am most looking forward to in the next chapter of my athletic career is having the opportunity to play at such a great level with such great girls. What I will miss most about playing for my high school team is the environment and hype on game days. I will miss the big wins and all the underclassmen I am leaving behind. High school soccer has shown me how to control my emotions, develop with my maturity, and learn how to be a leader through caring about the girls around me.” Throughout the years, Campbell has used motivational quotes to guide her through her athletic career. These phrases include: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me,” “Trust the process,” and “Why not us?” Campbell is really going to miss playing with her high school teammates and miss her amazing coaches, but she is so excited for what the future has in store for her!
