This year’s junior homecoming was one to remember for Lexi, who attended with her boyfriend, Aiden Bardill, and a close group of friends. Aiden asked Lexi to the dance in the sweetest way possible — with a poster reading, “Boys don’t cry, but I will if you don’t go to hoco with me,” a clever nod to one of Lexi’s favorite bands, The Cure.
Lexi looked stunning in a short green sparkly dress with a flowy bottom that she found at Windsor. “It just stood out to me,” she said. “I knew right away it was the perfect junior homecoming dress.” To complete her look, she visited HT Nails, her favorite local salon, for a black French tip with a gold stripe and a flower design on her ring finger — perfectly matching her dark green dress. Her hair and makeup, inspired by the night’s Grammy’s theme, were done at home with help from her sister, who knew exactly how to make the look shine.
Before the dance, Lexi and her family hosted a cozy get-together filled with snacks, chips, and cookies, while friends stopped by to take pictures. Later, Lexi, Aiden, and Valentina took gorgeous photos at a lake down the road, surrounded by forest trees that made for the perfect backdrop. Lexi’s mom drove the group to the dance afterward.
On the dance floor, Lexi had the time of her life. Some of her favorite moments were dancing to 2010 hits like “I Don’t Care” by Charli XCX, laughing as her friends broke into silly dance moves. “I took way too many pictures,” Lexi said with a laugh. “My friends and my boyfriend — there were so many that not even all of them could fit in one Instagram post!”
Lexi even brought her digital camera to the dance, capturing some of the best photos of the night. After homecoming, she and Valentina headed back to Lexi’s house for a sleepover, where they jumped around, blasted music, and posted all their favorite pictures from the night.
The next morning brought one last funny memory — breakfast while completely exhausted from all the fun. “My mom couldn’t stop laughing at us,” Lexi shared. “We were so tired and could barely eat after how hard we partied!”
Homecoming 2025 will definitely be a night Lexi never forgets — full of laughter, music, sparkle, and unforgettable memories with the people she loves most.
