Halloween was an exciting day for Sunlake, as for this year it fell on a Friday. That meant students could enjoy their Halloween festivities without having to wake up early the next morning and they could enjoy the weekend to come. One student, Will Garcia is no exception, as he had a great night with his friends and family.
On October 31, Sunlake students arrived at school in costume to show their Halloween spirit. Among them were Will and his friends Max and Mak, who coordinated their outfits as Alvin and the Chipmunks. The idea came together at the last minute, but despite the costumes simplicity, anyone who saw them together could tell exactly who they’re dress up as with the iconic green, red, and blue hoodies.

Later that night, Will dressed up as Dexter Morgan from the hit series “Dexter”. “I went as Dexter cause I found the show cool.” Dexter has become very popular as of late due to it’s anti hero premise and ability to make you sympathize with a murderer.
After getting dressed up, Will went out trick or treating with 5 of his friends. They went from house to house, getting lots of good candy. Along the way, Will and his friend Daniel got separated from the group and eventually made their way home.
Once he returned home he enjoyed the rest of his night eating candy and Taco Bell that he ordered. His major takeaway from the night was that he had a great time with his friends and family. When it comes down to it, that’s really what halloween is all about. Enjoying the spooky evening with loved ones and just having loads of fun.
