During the week of december 8th through december 12th, Senior Allyson Rapp had a eventful week from finals, to many soccer games. It was the kind of week that sums up senior year- busy schedules, important milestones, and hanging out with friends. When asked what her week looked like, Allyson said, “Lots of studying for midterms, a couple of soccer games and practices, and playing pickleball with friends.” Her days were packed, from going to classes, to going to the fields, to then hanging out with friends if she could. This week is the week where a lot of college decsions, if you applyed for early action came out. It was a very exciting but nerve racking time. Allyson’s favorite part of the week was, “Getting college decisions back and celebrating my friends birthday.” After months of anticipation, recieving college decions brought both excitement and relief. Making it feel more real that soon the senior class will be graduating in one semester. When asked if the week was stressful, Allyson said, “Yes definitly, my only big test was AP Bio, since the rest of my classes did projects instead.” Even though she only had one big test to study for she still had to a lot of work for her other classes. Allyson is on the soccer team for Sunlake and during the week they played Indian Rock Christian on wednesday and Alonso on friday. They won against Indian Rock Christian 4-1 and had a close game to Alonso but unfortunaly lost 0-1. Overall, Allyson had a very a eventful week, she is happy that midterms are over, and that most college decisions are out.
