Molly Meier a sophomore at Sunlake is always busy but still manages to keep a smile on her face. On Monday, she went to work, took care of her guinea pig by changing out his bedding and making sure to refill his water and food, and grabbed some food at McDonald’s. “Even busy days can be fun,” she says. She believes appreciating the small things, like taking care of her pet, make her day better. On Tuesday, she had a lot of world history homework, but she made sure to manage her time to go to work and grab lunch at Chipotle and Swig. On Wednesday, she went to First Watch after school with one of her close friends, had to go to work again, and finished up some anatomy homework. Thursday was a mix of food, shopping, and work. She went to Mission Barbeque, shopped at the Tampa Premium Outlets, and went to work afterward. “Shopping always makes me happy.” Molly enjoys little breaks in her busy schedule to treat herself. On Friday, she skipped school to spend time with friends. They went out to lunch at Los Chapos and shopped at International Mall, visiting Hollister, Altard State, Garage, and Abercrombie. “Hanging out with friends and shopping is the best,” she says. Fridays like this help her relax after a long week.
Even though her schedule is full, Molly knows how to balance school, work, and fun. She is known for being positive, working hard, and enjoying life. Whether she is studying, working, or hanging out with friends, Molly makes everyday counts. Molly shows that even with a busy life, you can still find time for the things you love, and she always does it with a smile.
