Physics is a class offered at Sunlake High School that challenges students to put their science skills in motion. This class gives students the opportunity to experiment and observe physics in real time. Junior Tomas Torrado really enjoys this class. He says, “I joined the class because I truly have a passion for science especially using math because I have always been good at math.” So far Tomas seems to be excelling in Physics class. When asked why he enjoys the class so much, Tomas said, “I really enjoy this class because we get into so much interesting conversation, as well as the experiments are very fun.” He also went on the say that his favorite aspect of the class is “…learning about the laws of motion and how they apply to the world.”
In the image above, Tomas and some of his classmates are participating in a class experiment. When describing the experiment, Tomas said, “What was happening during this experiment was a golf ball and race car experiment to determine if the number of stacked books increase the velocity of the object on the race track.”
